About the Role

Arup is seeking a highly experienced Senior Maritime Engineer to join our Regional Maritime team. As a key member of our team, you will leverage your extensive maritime engineering experience to enhance our portfolio and drive innovative solutions for diverse projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead port planning and technical design for various maritime engineering projects.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers.
  • Offer responsive maritime technical advice to clients.
  • Represent Arup in internal and external meetings, showcasing our expertise.
  • Manage complex projects, ensuring resource planning and adherence to quality standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in port planning, maritime structures design/assessment and coastal engineering, with a strong knowledge of relevant standards.
  • Proven ability to foster strong client relationships and promote a collaborative team environment.
  • Chartered status with Engineers Australia or equivalent.
  • Experience in leading multi-disciplinary project teams and developing junior talent.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.
