About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Early Childhood Coordinator to lead our team at St Elizabeth's OSHC in Tarragindi. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operation of our Before and After School Care and Vacation Care programs, ensuring a safe and enriching environment for our children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement innovative, play-based programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our children.
  • Lead a dedicated team of educators, inspiring and supporting them to bring out their best.
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and the school community, fostering a sense of belonging and connection.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, maintaining a high level of care and safety.
  • Promote our service within the local community in alignment with the Vision, Mission, and Values of Catholic Early EdCare.
Requirements
  • Qualified team member with a diploma or bachelor's degree in early childhood education or equivalent.
  • Prior leadership experience in an OSHC setting.
  • A passion for creating engaging programs and inspiring teams.
  • Strong leadership skills to motivate and support teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Sound knowledge of relevant regulations and best practices in OSHC.
  • Current First Aid Certification, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma Management Training, or willingness to obtain.
