Job Description

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Early Childhood Education Coordinator to lead our Before and After School Care and Vacation Care programs. The successful candidate will have a passion for creating engaging programs that cater to the diverse needs of our children.

Main Responsibilities

  • Oversight of daily program operations, ensuring a safe and enriching environment for children.
  • Leadership of a dedicated team of educators, inspiring and supporting them to achieve their best.
  • Development and implementation of innovative, play-based programs that reflect the interests and needs of our children.
  • Establishing strong relationships with families and the school community, promoting a sense of belonging.
  • Maintaining a high level of care and safety, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Promoting our service within the local community, aligning with the Vision, Mission, and Values of Catholic Early EdCare.

Key Requirements

  • Qualifications in Early Childhood Education or a related field, with prior leadership experience in an OSHC setting.
  • A strong passion for creating engaging programs and inspiring teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a sound understanding of relevant regulations and best practices.
  • Current First Aid Certification, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma Management Training, or willingness to obtain.
