Tax Manager

At Eightcap, we are seeking a skilled Tax Manager to join our team. This newly created role will be responsible for ensuring the compliance and timing of GST, ITR, FBT, PAYG, withholding tax, payroll tax, R&D tax claims, and tax audits.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Work closely with the controllership team to ensure the compliance and timing of tax obligations.
2. Provide guidance on technical issues, lodgements, and possible disputes.
3. Ensure effective planning and execution of local tax compliance requirements.
4. Implement transfer pricing policies and review supporting documentation in accordance with Australian legislation and global regulations.
Requirements:
1. CPA/CA qualification.
2. Minimum of 8-10+ years of tax experience.
3. Strong analytical skills in interpreting/analysing the impact of ever-changing tax laws on business.
4. Experience in managing international tax issues, e.g., transfer pricing.
5. Good finance and accounting knowledge, technical tax accounting experience.
6. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
7. Ability to prioritize, coordinate, and manage tasks.
