Tax Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our expanding Business Tax practice at RSM. As a Tax Manager, you will play a key role in advising business owner clients on a full spectrum of business and tax opportunities, including succession planning, wealth transfer planning, and tax compliance.
Responsibilities- Advise clients on tax planning, business advisory, and compliance work
- Manage and oversee engagement teams focused on Partnership, S corporation, or C Corporation taxation
- Collaborate with RSM specialists on Estate and Gift planning, State and Local Taxation, and International Taxation
- Communicate complex tax issues to clients in a non-technical manner
- Provide leadership, training, and career mentorship to team members
- Drive growth opportunities with existing clients and prospects
- Develop and sustain strong relationships with clients and other professional advisors
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or business-related field
- CPA license in one's principal place of business/home state, licensed J.D. or Enrolled Agent
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting with an emphasis on taxation
- Proficient in entity and Individual Taxation
- Familiar with Fiduciary, Gift, and Estate Taxation
