Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our tax function, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing strategic tax advice to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Manage tax compliance activities, including preparation of annual corporate tax returns and quarterly reporting for SEC purposes.
- Implement transfer pricing policies and review supporting documentation in accordance with Australian legislation and global regulations.
- Offer strategic advice on tax planning, mergers and acquisitions, and other business transactions to internal teams and the Global Tax Function.
- Assist with defending positions during audits, combined assurance reviews, and ad-hoc investigations initiated by Revenue Authorities.
- Stay current with changes in tax laws and regulations, and advise clients and internal teams on the impact of regulatory changes.
- Oversee GST, FBT, withholding, and PAYG instalment compliance activities in conjunction with the Financial Control team.
- 5+ years of corporate tax experience, preferably earned at a Big 4 or large corporate, across a broad range of taxes.
- Strong understanding of the Australian tax landscape, including corporate income tax, tax accounting, transfer pricing, and international tax, GST, and FBT.
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Law, or similar.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and handle a diverse workload.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skills, with the ability to build strong internal networks.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
