About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Program Director to lead the successful delivery of the Application Readiness Project.

This is a key leadership role within our organization, Aspirante, where you will be responsible for driving the delivery of a large-scale, complex IM and ICT capability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the successful delivery of a significant program comprising multiple large-scale, complex, and high-risk projects.
  • Ensure that the program of work includes necessary and sufficient activities that will create deliverables that conform to requirements.
  • Lead, manage, or direct an expert team of multi-disciplinary project directors, project managers, and other project staff.
  • Ensure project directors, principal project managers, and senior project managers undertake appropriate planning, budgeting, project management, reporting, consultation, and risk management.
  • Direct the effective use of our formal project management approach.
  • Consult and undertake high-level, strategic negotiations with project teams, program sponsors, and internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proactively oversee the monitoring and reporting of program-related trends and manage, monitor, and progress reporting of assigned projects within the program.

Requirements:

  • High level of experience in program and project management, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects.
  • Exceptional leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to work in a complex and demanding environment, focusing on team leadership and culture.
  • High level of knowledge and application of program and project management methodologies.
  • Proven ability to lead, manage, and mentor multiple multi-disciplinary program and project teams.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing a major program budget.
  • High level of negotiation, consultation, facilitation, and written and oral communication skills.
