We are seeking a Planner to fill this key position. As a highly skilled professional, you will be able to contribute significantly to the business and help it achieve its goals.
You will work autonomously while having the support of a strong team environment. You will have opportunities for continuing professional development and be part of a highly supportive and collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse policy and legislation amendments and provide concise summaries/presentations to stakeholders and clients.
- Conduct research and prepare technical advice relating to ad hoc planning queries.
- Work with Directors, clients, and consultant teams to prepare Planning Proposals in support of land rezonings.
- Assist in preparing Statements of Fact and Contentions for Land and Environment Court matters.
- Prepare quotes and project bids.
About You
- Relevant qualifications in town planning or related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Desirable to have experience working in the NSW Planning system.
- Must have experience working in or with local councils.
- Project management ability.
- Excellent report writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively in extreme situations with empathy and calmness.
- Ability to multitask under pressure.
- Problem-solving skills and proactiveness.
- Attention to detail.
- Compassionate and empathetic person.
