The Role

This is a pivotal role to support the successful delivery of complex high-risk projects, providing technical expertise and mentoring a team.

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering required
  • Chartered member (CPEng) of Institute of Engineers Australia necessary
  • 15+ years of demonstrated experience in civil engineering desired
  • Demonstrated senior-level experience with strong negotiation and leadership skills required
  • Strong understanding of the civil construction industry essential
  • Innovative and out-of-the-box attitude to solutions and designs expected
  • Ability to critically assess, interpret, and communicate information of a complex nature required
  • Ability to develop and mentor staff essential

Key Responsibilities:

  1. To provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams
  2. To lead and mentor junior engineers to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to deliver projects
  3. To contribute to the development of proposals and business cases for new projects
