About the Role

As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with disabilities in their homes and occasionally in the community. You will work closely with individuals to implement personalized plans that address their unique needs and goals. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting clients with daily living and personal care needs, including assistance with meal preparation, personal hygiene, and mobility
  • Accompanying clients to appointments and events
  • Assisting clients with working towards their goals
  • Providing overnight care and support

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A positive approach, initiative, and self-motivation
  • Effective communication skills and good English literacy
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team
  • Australian Driver Licence
  • The right to work in Australia
  • The ability to obtain a First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certificate
