Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive professional to join our Supply team as a Supply Officer.

In this role, you will be the first point of contact for supplier management and purchasing queries, ensuring smooth processes and exceptional stakeholder support.

You will manage the Purchasing team inbox, coordinate supplier onboarding, maintain accurate records, and work with both internal and external stakeholders to deliver process improvements that enhance quality, efficiency, and value for the business.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in purchasing, ideally in the mining industry, and proven experience with systems management and supplier administration.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the Purchasing team inbox and coordinate supplier onboarding.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance checks are completed.
  • Monitor and action correspondence from the Purchasing inbox promptly and efficiently.
  • Update business systems and documentation accurately based on workflow needs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve queries and provide user education on systems and processes.
  • Prioritize workload effectively to meet business needs while maintaining professional relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.

What You'll Bring

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience: Previous experience in purchasing, ideally in the mining industry.
  • Skills: Proven experience with systems management and supplier administration.
  • Familiarity: Familiarity with supplier onboarding processes.
  • Desirable: Exposure to Coupa P2P.
