Job Title: Senior Fire Systems Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Fire Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering high-quality fire systems solutions for major construction and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop fire systems in accordance with Australian standards, NCC, and project-specific requirements.
  • Manage the full design process from concept through to construction documentation.
  • Prepare layouts, schematics, and hydraulic calculations using AutoCAD and/or Revit.
  • Collaborate with BIM teams, consultants, builders, and certifiers.
  • Provide technical support and input throughout project delivery.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in fire system design for commercial or infrastructure projects.
  • Proven experience on Tier One construction projects.
  • FPAS Design (Fire Systems) accreditation or Diploma of Fire Systems Design – essential.
  • Strong understanding of NCC, Australian Standards, and NSW regulations.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD/Revit & hydraulic software experience (Hyena/SprinkCAD) desirable.
