About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Endeavour Foundation. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting people with disabilities to live their best lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support to individuals with disabilities in their homes and in the community, promoting independence and empowering them to achieve their goals.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal planning, and light cleaning, to ensure the individuals we support maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans, taking into account the unique needs and preferences of each person.
  • Build strong relationships with the individuals we support, their families, and our team members, fostering a culture of respect, empathy, and understanding.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge, ensuring you are equipped to provide the highest quality support.

Requirements

  • A Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience working with people with disabilities, preferably in a support worker role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with individuals, families, and team members.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to work varied shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
