Job DescriptionWe are seeking an exceptional Onsite IT professional to join our Sydney team. As a high-profile Onsite IT support specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support on a large customer's premises. Your primary duties will include supporting servers, desktops, and applications within a Microsoft AD, AAD, and Exchange environment, as well as delivering support for Azure, Hyper-V, and Citrix-based cloud infrastructure.
You will also perform a wide variety of Level 1-3 support across many technologies and occasionally participate in project teams to deploy solutions for the customer. Working closely with experienced solutions experts, you will maintain best practice environments and contribute to the delivery of exceptional IT services.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo succeed in this role, you will need outstanding communication skills, founded on the ability to speak fluently with customers. You should have advanced knowledge of end-user support and Active Directory, as well as a good general understanding of Windows Server and Exchange. Additionally, you will require experience working with an IT outsourcer or managed service provider (MSP) and an understanding of ticketing systems and customer service principles.
A general knowledge of technical infrastructure from desktop to firewall, including LAN & WAN networking principles, is also essential. Experience with Connectwise, Labtech, and/or Solarwinds Orion is desirable but not mandatory.
