Job Overview

We're looking for a skilled Project Management Specialist to join our Renewables team in Norway. As a key member of our EPCD Group, you'll be responsible for delivering project control services to a diverse portfolio of projects.

About the Role

In this exciting position, you'll have the opportunity to:

  • Drive the establishment and implementation of Equinor's project control methodology, leveraging your expertise and experience to optimize business cases and development phases.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure high-quality project control deliverables.
  • Strongly influence supplier relationships and contract management, ensuring timely deliveries and obligations are met.
  • Perform thorough trend analysis and cost/schedule performance evaluations to identify potential risk areas and implement mitigating actions.
  • Provide critical decision-making information to project teams and management, ensuring timely reporting and adherence to targets.
  • Actively participate in project member discussions to identify weak signals, upsides, and required actions.
  • Support project teams by managing project cost and scheduling activities from design phase to project close-out.
  • Work together with key stakeholders to identify project risks and facilitate contingency management processes.
  • Contribute to relevant networks, continuous learning, and improvement of Equinor's templates, methods, procedures, and tools within the project control discipline.

We're looking for someone with a good understanding of complex multidisciplinary project developments and a proven track record of project control deliveries within renewables, oil, and gas or construction industries.

Some essential qualities include:

  • Excellent analytical, presentation, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to utilize digital tools and visual communication.
  • A strong team player with a target-oriented, structured, and systematic approach.
  • A curious, proactive, commercial, and accountable attitude.
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in a technical discipline, preferably with more than 7 years of relevant post-graduate experience.

Salary and Benefits
