Job Description

We are seeking a skilled tester to join our team. As a mid-level tester, you will lead testing and ensure the quality of all products released on our iOS, Android and web apps.

You will work closely with our agile Engineering and Product team as a permanent team member, attending stand-ups, sprint planning and retrospectives. You will perform manual testing on iOS, Android and web apps within 2-week sprint cycles and regression testing where needed.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manual testing on iOS, Android and web apps
  • Regression testing where needed
  • Raising bug tickets in JIRA and retesting before release
  • Working closely with the Product Manager to learn more about upcoming new products and test as they are developed

You will also be responsible for writing new test scripts to add to future regression cycles and updating existing test scripts as required.

About you:

Requirements include:

  • At least 2 years of testing experience with iOS and Android apps
  • Experience with JIRA for creating and tracking bugs as well as tickets in active sprints
  • Experience with Zephyr for writing, updating and executing test scripts/test cases (or similar)

Desirable qualifications include:

  • Have worked in an agile software development environment
  • Experience with Reflect for automated web testing (or similar)
  • Interest in learning test automation to become more efficient with a small team as our business grows and our product suite expands

Ideally, you will have the confidence and aptitude to own the testing and quality assurance processes at our company, with opportunities to learn and grow in the role.
