Job Overview

This is a mid-senior level full-time position as a Test Automation Specialist.

As a seasoned professional, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining efficient automation frameworks using Selenium and Playwright.

You will lead test execution and defect management, create solutions and approaches for QA proposals, and mentor junior team members.

A bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, along with three years of progressive experience in the specialty, can substitute for each year of education.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.

The role requires excellent communication skills and stakeholder management, as well as the ability to effectively lead a team of automation testers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Automation Framework Development: Develop and maintain robust, reusable, and maintainable automation frameworks using Selenium and Playwright.
  • Test Execution and Defect Management: Lead test execution and ensure timely defect resolution.
  • QA Proposal Development: Create solutions and approaches for QA proposals.
  • Mentorship: Mentor junior team members and guide them in their career development.
Essential Skills
  • UI and API Automation Testing: Strong experience in UI and API automation testing using Selenium (Java) and Playwright.
  • Automation Frameworks: Experience in creating robust, reusable, and maintainable automation frameworks.
  • BDD/TDD Principles: Knowledge of BDD/TDD principles and experience in implementing them.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management.
  • Leadership: Ability to effectively lead a team of automation testers.
Nice To Have Skills
  • Trend Exposure: Exposure to trends in Quality Engineering, such as RPA, analytics-driven testing, and AI/ML in QA.
  • GenAI Tools: Knowledge of GenAI tools like GitHub Copilot and their enterprise adoption.
Preferred Skills
  • Cloud Migration Testing: Experience with Cloud migration testing (AWS or Azure).
