About the Role:
We are seeking a seasoned Software Delivery Manager to lead our delivery teams in achieving excellence. As a key member of our technology and product teams, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how we build great things efficiently and with pleasure.
This is an opportunity to cultivate an environment where great delivery naturally happens. You will be responsible for championing our rituals, embedding consistency in planning and reflection, and being a trusted presence when challenges arise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Champion and maintain delivery team culture and values to ensure long-term sustainable success.
- Execute the end-to-end delivery process between Technology and Product teams, measuring KPIs and identifying areas for improvement.
- Work closely with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, and Team Leads to ensure delivery projects meet delivery standards.
- Provide strategic guidance to Team Leads on upcoming projects and drive excellence with the product team on requirements fidelity.
- Maintain and monitor JIRA delivery reporting and ensure data fidelity.
- Provide timely and accurate performance reporting to delivery teams.
- Lead delivery team retrospectives and planning rituals.
- Coordinate biannual planning and team-building sessions.
- Inspire and engage Delivery teams in effective storytelling and communicate project progress to the broader business audience.
- Complete ad-hoc requests as needed to support delivery and release tasks.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in software project delivery or adjacent areas such as Product Ownership, QA, Digital Production.
- A strong understanding of modern software delivery frameworks and product discovery.
- A proven ability to deliver complex software projects in fast-paced environments.
- High emotional intelligence with strong communication, collaboration, and facilitation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and lead without direct authority.
- Experience with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence).
- A passion for improving team health and delivery effectiveness.
- An innovative mindset with a curiosity for technology and team dynamics.
