**The Opportunity**

Are you interested in Agile practices and managing an enormous amount of rich Customer Software data collected? This role is about converting and delivering valuable insights from the data through best-in-class data visualisation and reporting methods. This is a role for someone passionate about data who enjoys interacting with stakeholders and helping them succeed on their data reporting journey.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Software Delivery Metrics, Reporting & Dashboard Management _
- Standardise, design, and deliver targeted, clear and impactful data visualisations and reports to facilitate data-enabled decision making
- Design and build automated reports and visualisations
- Provide support to Customer Software Team in the use of JIRA/Tableau to consume and build reports, including providing training
- Provide guidance on best practice in terms of report design and building dashboards for the purpose of insights, root cause analysis and recommendations.
- Own and implement industry standard software development metrics, like DORA and Flow Metrics, guided by an understanding brought to the role of what good looks like in the industry. Implement these metrics across all projects within the Customer Software department, to identify, manage, and escalate bottlenecks, risks, and issues.
- Drive acceptance and adoption of these standardised metrics across each squad
- Meeting with Customer Software teams to understand the problems they are trying to solve and devising data-driven solutions to assist them
- Educating customers on usage of the Customer Software Metrics and reports
- Proactively monitor and analyse the data coming from the metrics to foresee risks, bottlenecks, and potential delays before they happen, and report and escalate as appropriate.
- Provide visibility on the Software Delivery process to the Customer Software Leadership Team, using reporting and visualisation tools such as Tableau, to help product and resource decision making in the management of the department.
- Produce high quality documentation and reporting
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships across the department and work in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Agile Coach / Software Delivery Process_
- Champion and drive the adoption of Agile practices in the squads, and enforce project standards, so that the Customer Software department continues to stay at the forefront of employing industry best practices.
- Work with the respective Software Delivery Manager and Product Owner on each squad to standardise our Agile ways of working and squad model, and tool usage such as Jira, so that we globally align on consistent ways of working.
- Provide insights to the Customer Software Leadership Team on further opportunities of improvement with the software delivery process, both within the Customer Software team, and with other delivery teams across the business, so that we can further optimise Cochlear's overall product delivery.
- Team and Thought Leadership_
- Perform the role of Agile Coach for the team, including associated training, with a focus on continuous improvement and driving the teams to work better.
- Manage the release process and deliverables so that the Connected Care product roadmap is fully supported.

**About You**:

- A tertiary qualification in data analytics or a related discipline such as computer science, IT, statistics, and mathematics.
- Demonstrated experience in creating, extracting, and updating JIRA/Tableau dashboards or similar tools for data preparation and reporting for management
- You are people-oriented, and you love learning from others and sharing your knowledge
- Exceptional listening skills to interpret and diagnose the problems Customer Software Teams are trying to solve and to devise solutions
- Strong attention to detail, analytical and critical thinking skills
- Demonstrated aptitude for logical analysis, problem identification and problem-solving
- Strong understanding of reporting and presentation best practice.
