Registered Psychiatric Nurse Grade 2

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Psychiatric Nurse Grade 2 to join our team at St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality care to individuals with mental health needs, utilizing the Strengths model of recovery-oriented practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide case management to a small designated number of residents, including undertaking MSE and risk assessments, and administration of prescribed medications.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver person-centered care and support the recovery and rehabilitation needs of residents.
- Develop and implement creative and flexible care plans that promote social connectedness and inclusion.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in nursing that meets the registration requirements of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
- Current Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) registration.
- A current Victorian driver's license.
- Knowledge of a recovery-oriented, community-based psychosocial approach promoting social connectedness and inclusion.
- High-level communication skills, written and verbal.
- Well-developed ability to develop care plans that are creative and flexible.
- Current National criminal history check, or willingness to obtain.
