We are seeking a highly skilled IT professional to manage and support our Windows and VMware infrastructure. This critical role requires expertise in Windows Server administration, virtualization, and Active Directory management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain Windows servers to ensure optimal performance.
  • Install, configure, and patch Windows operating systems using SCCM.
  • Monitor server performance and troubleshoot availability issues.
  • Configure security policies, including group policies, firewall settings, and anti-malware solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with industry best practices for Windows servers.
  • Deploy, configure, and manage VMware vSphere environments.
  • Create, configure, and manage virtual machines (VMs) and templates.
  • Monitor the health and performance of the VMware environment and VMs.
  • Tune VMs and VMware settings for optimal performance and resource utilization.
  • Configure disaster recovery processes using Site Recovery Manager (SRM).
  • Monitor and forecast resource usage to plan for expansion.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and virtual network/storage issues in VMware environments.
  • Support and troubleshoot issues related to VM migrations, snapshots, and backups.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Windows Server administration, VMware virtualization, and Active Directory management. Additionally, they should be proficient in PowerShell, vSphere CLI, or other automation tools.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Windows Server administration, VMware virtualization, and Active Directory management.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server operating systems, including installation, configuration, and patching.
  • Experience with SCCM, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), and Microsoft Security products.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell, vSphere CLI, or other automation tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
