Job Overview

The role of Maintenance Stores Coordinator plays a pivotal part in ensuring the efficient operation of our Maintenance Department.

This includes overseeing goods receipt, procurement, and inventory control systems to minimize costs and maintain OH&S and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, be proactive, and have excellent communication abilities.

  • Coordinate resource utilization to optimize efficiency and meet operational requirements.
  • Develop and manage Standard Operating Procedures to ensure effective system control and customer satisfaction.
  • Authorize invoices for payment or forward them to the Department Manager as necessary.
  • Negotiate suppliers to secure well-priced products and timely deliveries, ensuring adequate stock levels to support operational needs.
  • Conduct regular reviews of stock quantities, prices, and material utilization to maximize usage and minimize waste.
  • Provide general support to the Engineering Team with data entry and quality auditing tasks.
