About the Role

ALS is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sample Preparation Specialist to join our team in Orange, NSW. As a Sample Preparation Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of our laboratory results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain sample preparation equipment, including crushers, pulverizers, and splitters.
  • Handle and process rock, core, and drill chips, ensuring accurate and efficient sample preparation.
  • Perform routine manual tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
  • Sort and label samples accurately and efficiently.
  • Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve daily production targets.

Requirements

  • Be physically and mentally fit to perform repetitive manual tasks.
  • Be reliable, responsible, and demonstrate excellent attendance.
  • Have good verbal and written communication skills, including numerical accuracy.
  • Follow instructions and procedures accurately, including safety protocols.
  • Have a high attention to detail and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Be honest and display integrity, with a strong commitment to quality and safety.
