About the Role

As a seasoned project manager, you will be an integral part of our construction team and will be responsible for coordinating engineering functions to achieve time and cost objectives.

You will oversee structural steel and facade design and construction, utilizing value engineering to deliver designs that meet project targets for safety, program, and cost. You will also coordinate with external and internal stakeholders to resolve conflicts and achieve project goals.

Key responsibilities include reviewing construction and work packages, monitoring project progress, and preparing reports for the wider team, clients, and building surveyors. Additionally, you will plan, enforce, and implement safety standards on site.

Key Accountabilities

  • Work in accordance with our company culture and values, and adhere to our policies, procedures, and requirements related to business conduct and interpersonal relationships.
  • Support our social procurement strategy by actively assisting and adding value to our initiatives. This includes seeking opportunities to employ priority jobseekers and procure goods and services from Aboriginal businesses and social enterprises.
  • Obtain relevant design parameter information for incorporation into detailed designs and construction specifications. Monitor quality and quantities of incoming equipment and materials, check work drawings, construction, and specifications against site plans and conditions, and arrange corrections or modifications where necessary.
  • Supervise and coordinate the construction activities for buildings within the project. Monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure that the work is carried out according to the approved design, budget, and schedule.
