Health and Security Support Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Health and Security Support. As a key member of our security services, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our staff, patients, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to incidents and de-escalate challenging situations.
  • Collaborate closely with healthcare teams and respond to alarms.
  • Supervise key areas and carry out essential duties to maintain a secure environment.

Requirements:

  1. Current NSW Security Industries License 1A and nationally recognised current First Aid Certificate or Statement of Attainment.
  2. Experience in the security industry as Security Officer is desirable.
  3. Demonstrated skills to manage aggressive incidents, challenging behaviours, and respond to duress situations.
  4. Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision and effectively as a member of a team.
  5. Effective written and oral communication skills.
  6. Participation in a 7 day rotating roster that includes weekends, public and school holidays, including morning, afternoon and night shifts.
  7. Current Driver's Licence and willingness to use for work purpose travel.
