Elevate is seeking a seasoned Energy Lawyer for a 12-month contract to elevate the project lifecycle of large-scale energy developments.

The Role
  • Expert advice on entire project lifecycles, including strategy development, risk assessment and mitigation, and commercial negotiations.
  • Draft and negotiate critical project documents, such as connection agreements, power purchase agreements (PPAs), offtake contracts, and procurement agreements.
  • Manage external counsel and deliver training to internal teams on energy law, contracts, and commercial transactions.
  • Provide proactive legal guidance to drive business outcomes and minimize risks.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across engineering, construction, procurement, and regulatory functions to achieve project goals.
About You
  • We are looking for a lawyer with:
  • At least 7 years' experience in energy, projects, or construction (top-tier firm or in-house).
  • Proven expertise in energy and projects development, with extensive experience negotiating and drafting energy contracts.
  • Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder-focused approach.
  • Familiarity with EPC/EPCM front-end contracting is a plus.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in fast-paced environments.
