Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Technician to join our team at Ricoh Imaging Europe. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their hardware and software needs are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers, resolving hardware and software issues efficiently.
  • Install and configure hardware and software solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Deliver end-user training on Ricoh products and services, empowering customers to get the most out of their technology.
  • Perform troubleshooting diagnostics, identifying and resolving software issues promptly.
  • Conduct field service calls, achieving customer satisfaction and resolving technical issues effectively.
  • Communicate professionally with customers, discussing machine faults and problems, and advising on all aspects of the service call.
  • Utilize our Phone/Remote/Onsite Support process to resolve problems efficiently and effectively.
  • Accurately account for spare parts and consumables used during service calls, following all processes and procedures.
  • Maintain an advanced level of knowledge on Ricoh products and solutions through our Personal Development Plan (PDP).

Requirements

  • High technical aptitude and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Experience in resolving high-pressure technical situations, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Current driver's license and willingness to obtain a Working with Children Check (WWCC).
  • Strong client focus, professional attitude, and proactive identification and management of technical issues.
  • Experience in the IT and Print copier industry, with a strong understanding of Ricoh products and services.
