At Volvo Group, we're shaping the future of sustainable transport solutions. As a Service Advisor, you'll play a key role in organizing service work schedules and ensuring our customers receive exceptional support.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and scheduling repair bookings for customers
  • Handling service-related queries from customers
  • Creating job cards and assisting with customer invoicing and purchase orders
  • Updating customers and rebooking appointments for follow-up or repairs
  • Ensuring technicians have completed repair order information by checking stories, parts, kilometres, etc.
  • Confirming customers or drivers have signed repair orders to authorize repairs
  • Ensuring vehicles are road-tested and acceptable in presentation to present back to customers
  • Using your expertise to advise and provide guidance to technicians and apprentices regarding customer vehicle concerns
  • Working a rotating Saturday roster to provide additional support to customers

As a Service Advisor, you'll work in a small team of Service Advisors and Costing Clerks, reporting to the Customer Service Supervisor. The greater workshop team of approximately 35 includes Mechanics, Auto-Electricians, Trades Assistants, and Apprentices. We pride ourselves on running a quality operation in a supportive and good-humoured team environment.

We're looking for someone with:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Automotive industry experience (truck and bus experience would be an advantage)
  • Good mechanical knowledge
  • Sound computer skills, including Microsoft Office programs
  • Strong organizational skills and a proactive working style
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
  • Availability to work a rotating Saturday
