**About the Role**

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join our client, a busy customer-focused mid-sized business in Frenchs Forest. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for inventory, purchasing and stock management.

This fast-paced detailed role requires a high level of planning skills to work with multiple promotional schedules, managing over 300 brands and 3500 SKUs. You will need to maintain strong relationships with suppliers and ensure accurate forecasting and ordering processes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management: Work closely with suppliers to manage and replenish stock levels.
  • Supply Planning: Ensure accurate forecasting and ordering processes to meet customer demand.
  • Purchase Order Processing: Process purchase orders in a timely and efficient manner.
  • End-of-Life Stock Management: Manage end-of-life stock and identify opportunities for cost savings.
  • Purchasing & Price Lists: Develop and maintain pricing strategies to optimize profitability.
  • Monitoring Promotional Offers: Analyze and implement promotional offers to drive sales growth.
  • Sourcing Replacement Stock: Identify and source replacement stock for discontinued products.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in inventory management, purchasing and supply chain operations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to optimize procurement processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
  • Highly organized and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
