Senior Investigative Journalist for Television Current Affairs

At the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, we are seeking an exceptional Senior Investigative Journalist to join our team in producing high-quality investigative stories and current affairs pieces for our iconic 7.30 program.

This role is ideal for a seasoned journalist with a proven track record in investigative reporting, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a deep understanding of current affairs and the Australian socio-political landscape.
The successful candidate will be responsible for researching, developing, and producing high-quality investigative stories and current affairs pieces, conducting in-depth interviews with newsmakers, experts, and those affected by the issues being covered, presenting live on-air segments with professionalism, authority, and engaging delivery, and collaborating with the production team to ensure seamless execution of segments and adherence to editorial standards.
In addition to a competitive salary of $115,000 - $138,000 per annum, we offer a range of benefits, including 15.4% ABC Nominated Super, paid parental, carer's and supporting partner leave, salary packaging, and ABC Mentoring.
