Regional Engagement Specialist

The Institution of Civil Engineers is a global professional body representing civil engineers worldwide. We are seeking an experienced regional engagement specialist to oversee membership development and stakeholder relationships in Australasia.

Main Responsibilities

  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with key external stakeholders, including members, industry peers, and government departments
  • Develop strategies to engage existing members, fostering a sense of community through targeted programs, events, and communications
  • Provide guidance on professional development to members, non-members, and employers
  • Counsel student groups on membership and career opportunities in civil engineering

Requirements

  • Deep understanding of the employment market in the Civil Engineering, Infrastructure, or Built Environment sector
  • Proven operations management experience, with a track record of working remotely
  • Able to foster strong relationships with diverse stakeholders, both internally and externally
  • Experience in business planning, budget preparation, and financial management
