Nutritious Meals Chef

As a dedicated Nutritious Meals Chef, you will play a vital role in planning and preparing daily meals for children aged 0 to 6. This is a permanent part-time position, working 8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday (up to 37.5 hours per week).

About the Role
  • Plan and prepare nutritious breakfast, morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea menus that cater to diverse dietary requirements and restrictions.
  • Maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen environment, adhering to our centre policies.
  • Engage with educators, children, and families to foster a sense of community and involvement.
Key Qualifications and Experience
  • Commercial Cookery Qualifications / Certificate III or higher.
  • Food Safety Supervisor Certificate.
  • Safe Food Handling Certificate.
  • Previous experience in childcare is highly valued.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain a clean and functional kitchen environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
