Safety Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Risk Management Professional to join our team. With over 16 years of experience in safety management roles, you will have a broad knowledge across all functions of safety and risk management.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct workplace inspections and identify potential hazards
- Lead comprehensive risk assessments and recommend practical control measures
- Investigate incidents, prepare detailed reports and follow through on corrective actions
- Deliver effective training sessions and inductions
- Monitor and review safe work procedures and permits to work
- Maintain accurate WHS records, registers and compliance documentation
- Support the rollout of safety initiatives and improvement projects
- Coach and engage supervisors and employees to strengthen our safety culture
- Cert IV in Work Health & Safety (or working towards)
- Some experience in safety, ideally in manufacturing or similar sectors
- Understanding of WHS legislation and basic compliance requirements
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with people at all levels
- Keen to learn and proactive in spotting risks
