Job Role:

An occupational therapist facilitates daily living and work for individuals with disabilities or injuries.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluating and providing interventions for children and adults with impairments
  • Collaborating within the NDIS framework to optimize clients' functionality, capacity, and social participation
  • Supporting assistive technology assessments, recommendations, and applications
  • Maintaining timely documentation and report writing
  • Managing a diverse caseload
  • Meeting professional expectations, such as productivity and client management
  • Establishing relationships with stakeholders, including therapists, clients, and referral sources
  • Utilizing leading software platforms and online tools
Requirements:
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications
  • Discipline-specific registration (e.g., AHPRA/SPA)
  • Working with Children Check (WWCC or Blue Card)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Police and International Police Checks (if applicable)
  • Driver's license and reliable vehicle
  • Car insurance
