As a health care professional in a specialist psychogeriatric residential aged care setting, you will provide high-quality care and services to residents with complex needs.
Transitional support and care are essential for individuals living with severe behavioral and psychological symptoms of dementia, ensuring their safety, dignity, and well-being at every stage of care.
About the Position- Provide compassionate care and services to all residents
- Ensure safe, dignified, and supportive care environments
The facility is a 90-bed, high-level, residential aged care mental health unit consisting of two secure units.
Residents are referred due to cognitive, emotional, or behavioral disturbances that cannot be managed in general aged care settings.
The goal is to improve residents' conditions, enabling transfer to less restrictive and more suitable accommodations.
