Job Summary

A skilled Logistics Specialist is required to manage import and export logistics across global markets, ensuring compliance and efficiency in every shipment. This role involves coordinating shipping documentation and logistics from various locations, liaising with freight forwarders and customs agencies, and developing strong relationships with export customers and service providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage freight movement for both import and export, ensuring compliance with customs regulations.
  • Coordinate shipping documentation and logistics from various locations (Australia, Europe, USA).
  • Liaise with freight forwarders, customs, and transport companies to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with export customers and service providers.
  • Prepare financial reports and statements related to export-import operations.
  • Ensure legal and ethical compliance in all logistics practices.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3+ years' experience in an export/logistics role within a medium to large organisation.
  • Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline (preferred).
  • Proficiency in SAP and Ozdocs Export Software.
  • Strong knowledge of Incoterms and international trade procedures.
  • Experience with export/import documentation (e.g., Letter of Credit, Bill of Lading).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including cross-cultural communication.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Intermediate or higher proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Flexible attitude with a willingness to work overtime when required.
