Job Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Brock Layer to join our team and contribute to the construction of various bricklaying projects across residential, commercial, and industrial sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To read and interpret plans and specifications, determining materials and planning and setting out jobs accurately.
  • To carry out general bricklaying duties, including cutting, repairing, levelling, laying, mortaring, and fitting bricks to construct structures.
  • To check vertical and horizontal alignment, cut and shape bricks and blocks to meet project requirements, and lay bricks and blocks in accordance with plans/designs to construct and repair walls, partitions, arches, etc.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of bricklaying experience in residential and/or commercial buildings.
  • Ability to read building plans and ensure accuracy and attention to detail in work produced.
  • Demonstrated experience across a range of masonry projects, including masonry veneer and cavity brick construction, constructing multi-thickness walls and piers, sealing foundations, installing flashing and damp courses, repairing bricks and blocks, and related structures.
  • Punctuality, reliability, and a commitment to occupational health and safety and environmental standards.
