What You'll Be Doing

As a Business Development Consultant, you'll be generating demand for Oracle Cloud solutions and services through a mix of inbound enquiries and outbound prospecting within an assigned territory or vertical. You'll act as the first contact for many prospects in the Oracle business, qualifying Oracle prospects and producing strong customer demand for cloud solutions that are shared with sales and progress to win.

  • Generating business for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Solutions (OCI) using all channels to reach customers.
  • Pursuing targeted accounts to migrate and grow their footprint with Oracle.
  • Applying a consultative approach in understanding and analyzing clients' needs.
  • Communicating Oracle's value proposition.
  • Participating in 3-way solution calls with Sales, Pre-Sales, and Customer to build solutions.
What We're Looking For

We're looking for a passionate and entrepreneurial individual who's passionate about technology and using it to start or grow new businesses. You'll need to have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in B2B sales environments in dynamic IT or software sales. You'll also need to be outcomes-oriented, confident, and effective in communication, with creative and strong solution-selling skills.

  • Min 3-5 years experience in B2B sales environment in dynamic IT or software sales.
  • Passion for technology and using it to start or grow new businesses.
  • Outcomes-oriented individual.
  • Confident and effective communication skills.
  • Creative & strong solution selling skills.
  • Familiar with social media tools and technologies.
  • Experience in managing high-volume sales pipelines.
  • Experience in selling or positioning cloud solutions in SaaS, IaaS & PaaS would be an advantage.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
