Seeking a Finance Manager

We are seeking a talented and experienced Finance Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for someone to take on a senior financial leadership role within a large property organisation. As the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the financial reporting, management and communication of the organisations accounting and commercial activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the wider business with the delivery of financial reporting including results analysis, accounting policies, statutory financial statements and support for Committee and Board submissions.
  • Drive process improvement in an effort to create efficiencies across the function.
  • Manage month-end and year-end closing activities, including submission of Balance Sheet reconciliations.
  • Manage and own Balance Sheet, Cashflow, and Working Capital forecasting, planning, and analysis.
  • Responsible for Overhead budgeting, reporting, and analysis, ensuring Overhead cost targets are met.
  • Manage full compliance with income tax, GST, and statutory reporting obligations.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • A fully qualified Charted Accountant professional.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience coming from a big4 / Mid-tier environment as a first mover or second mover would be ideal.
