Facilities Coordinator, Aged Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Coordinator to support our team in delivering exceptional services for aged infrastructure and essential services. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our Facilities Manager to ensure the successful execution of audits, inspections, testing, and remedial works.
Key Responsibilities- Defect Identification and Remediation: Identify defects in building structures and fabrics through visual and intrusive inspections, and implement immediate remedial actions to address identified risks and ensure safety.
- Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Conduct risk assessments of remaining defects to recommend necessary remedial actions for mitigating risks and maintaining ongoing safe facility operations.
- Essential Services Testing: Manage all aspects of the Essential Services testing program to ensure compliance for issuing Annual Certifications.
- Document Control and Quality Oversight: Manage and maintain program documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with client guidelines, and ensure all documentation meets quality standards and client processes.
- Team Support and Stakeholder Engagement: Assist the broader team in overseeing project milestones and documentation, and address the needs of stakeholders to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Essential Qualifications:
- Vocational training in building systems or construction.
- Minimum of 2 years of administrative or coordination support experience, preferably in a construction or project management environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience with project management software and/or ERP systems.
- Strong knowledge of building systems and National Construction Codes (NCC).
- Developed commercial acumen and a working knowledge of contract law.
- Desirable Qualifications:
- Certificate IV in Construction or a relevant qualification (preferred).
- High school diploma.
