About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Finance Business Partner to join our leadership team.
This newly-created role is business-critical and will play a key part in driving the positive financial direction of the company.
The successful applicant will be responsible for providing insightful analysis into key performance trends, enhancing business performance, and making strategic decisions.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead business partnering, performance management, planning, and decision support while spearheading strategic projects enterprise-wide.
  • Use analytical skills and financial expertise to drive business growth, provide actionable insights, and offer a fresh perspective.
  • Assist in leading the Commercial Finance team to drive function performance with P&L ownership and management reporting.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and divisions.
  • Drive underwriting profitability analysis by product line, segment, and channel.
  • Manage and develop high-performing direct reports.
  • Support reinsurance and capital planning initiatives through robust financial modelling.
  • Lead the end-to-end forecasting and annual budgeting process, long-term strategic planning, and provide advice on risks & opportunities.
  • Support decision making through financial modelling, insights, and analysis of key performance drivers.

Requirements:
A CA/CPA qualified accounting professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will have a strong attention to detail, enjoy collaboration, and have had extensive experience within a large & complex working environment. Additionally, you will have extensive and proven experience working within the Insurance sector.
