About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional writer with a passion for wildlife conservation and environmental preservation to join our team as a Grants and Communications Officer. This role offers a unique opportunity to support conservation projects across Commonwealth Parks and drive innovative conservation initiatives.

The Grants and Communications Officer will be responsible for developing and maintaining content for our website, e-newsletters, project flyers, and social media. They will also collaborate with partners to prepare reports to funders, highlighting project progress, and research and apply for grant opportunities to secure funding for conservation projects.

The ideal candidate will have excellent written, verbal, and listening skills, strong social media skills, and experience with WordPress. They will also possess excellent organisational abilities, independence, and high-quality task management. Knowledge or experience in wildlife conservation, environmental preservation, or cultural heritage will be highly beneficial.

Key Responsibilities

  • Knowledge or experience in wildlife conservation, environmental preservation, or cultural heritage
