Digital Document Specialist for Grant Management

Hudson Australia seeks an experienced Digital Document Specialist to join its team in Canberra, providing support for grant management processes.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will design and develop online forms and digital documents, collaborating with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications. Key responsibilities include testing and debugging digital solutions, as well as providing support to end-users.

This role involves the development and maintenance of online forms using tools such as Maestro, Journey Manager, or similar applications. To excel in this position, you will require strong business analysis capabilities, analytical problem-solving skills, effective interpersonal and consultative abilities, proficiency in verbal and written communication, a creative approach, foundational software knowledge, and experience designing user-friendly and efficient digital solutions.

About the Team:

The Community Grants Hub works in partnership with government and non-government organisations to improve the wellbeing of individuals and families in Australian communities. The Hub administers community-based grants on behalf of the department and eight other government departments.

Key Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and engagement skills
  • Ability to work well in a team, including in a remote or virtual environment
  • Ability to interpret and understand technical documentation
  • Ability to explain complex information in a straightforward manner to internal and external staff and stakeholders
  • Ability to manage and deliver competing priorities within tight timeframes
  • Ability to prioritise workloads while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Well-developed organisational skills
  • A good understanding of the Grant Payment System (GPS) and the phases of the Grants lifecycle is favourable
