Retail Category Expertise

The role of a Retail Category Specialist is pivotal in the execution of retail strategy and ensuring seamless operations across multiple categories and sectors.

This position requires managing various categories, including food & beverage, FMCG, front of store, vending, with a focus on delivering strategic objectives, supplier relationship management, sourcing, range optimization, pricing, promotions, and performance tracking against commercial KPIs. Additionally, negotiation and contract management play a crucial role.

The ideal candidate will have experience in Retail, preferably within supermarket or FMCG environments, coupled with knowledge of retail operations, consumer behavior, and product sales strategies.

Key skills required include strong problem-solving abilities, effective communication, analytical skills, and project support expertise.
