Paediatric Occupational Therapist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and adolescents, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The role involves assessing participants' developmental, cognitive, emotional, psychological and physical function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments. You will interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant and provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to help participants enhance their quality of life and meet their goals.

As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work collaboratively with other professionals to deliver high-quality services and support the needs of our clients.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist to make a real difference in the lives of our participants and contribute to our organisation's mission.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and treat participants with varying levels of complexity
  • Develop and implement individualised treatment plans
  • Conduct regular progress reviews and updates
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive care
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
