This role presents a unique chance to spearhead end-to-end procurement strategies that combine commercial acumen, governance expertise, and sustainability impact.

The Position

As a senior procurement professional, you will collaborate with executives and stakeholders to develop sourcing plans, drive value creation, and embed best practices in a complex finance sector organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop strategic sourcing pipelines and category management plans.
  • Oversee the entire procurement lifecycle for indirect spend categories.
  • IDentify and deliver cost reduction initiatives, value enhancement projects, ESG outcomes, and spend efficiencies.
  • Lead ESG initiatives, including supplier diversity, sustainability targets, and reconciliation action plans.
  • Implement improvements to procurement tools, processes, and procedures.
  • Establish governance frameworks that drive procurement automation and continuous improvement.
  • Foster strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.
Skill & Experience Requirements
  • Demonstrated success in strategic procurement or category management roles.
  • Proven experience managing categories of spend, delivering cost savings, and supplier rationalisation strategies.
  • Strong commercial acumen with advanced analytical capabilities.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and communication skills.
