We are seeking a skilled Rostering Officer to join our team of professionals. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and maintaining rosters across various programs, ensuring shift coverage at short notice and advance planning. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to maintain compliance with organizational policies, budgets, and industrial awards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collate and complete fortnightly rosters, ensuring timely submission to Payroll
  • Analyze and report on schedule variances, shortfalls, overtime, absences, and other key performance indicators
  • Schedule resources to cover planned and unplanned changes in staff availability
  • Support new employees through their orientation process

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in roster management, human resources coordination, or payroll-related positions
  • Ability to self-prioritize and ensure task completion within deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in rostering management software and organizational policy interpretation
  • Current Working with Vulnerable People registration
