We are seeking a skilled Oncology Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Job Responsibilities- Deliver evidence-based nursing care to patients with various cancer types
- Liaise effectively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff
- Supervise and guide ENs and AINs in delivering patient care
- Provide education and support to patients for managing their health, recovery, or end-of-life needs
The ideal candidate will possess:
Essential Criteria- Current registration with AHPRA
- A valid Working with Children check
- Minimum 2 years recent Oncology Nursing experience
- Competence in Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy administration
- IV cannulation and access to CVAD/Ports
- ADAC training and certification
- Commitment to quality patient care
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
- Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Basic computer skills
