Job Title: Senior Project Manager

Nine Entertainment is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of technology-enabled change projects across the Group. As a key member of the Project Delivery Team, you will be responsible for driving the execution of projects from initiation to completion using agile and traditional delivery methods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage multiple project streams with cross-functional project teams, providing guidance, motivation, and direction to ensure project outcomes.
  • Partner with Commercial and Transformation teams to manage the RFP process, process design, and business case development for the selection of platform and system integrator.
  • Proactively manage project scope, objectives, deliverables, and outcomes, ensuring alignment with stakeholders and governing scope changes.
  • Monitor budgets and provide accurate financial reporting to stakeholders, identifying cost-saving opportunities and managing budget deviations.
  • Proactively identify and assess project risks, develop mitigation plans, and implement strategies in consultation with stakeholders.
  • Manage and collaborate with key stakeholders across Technology and the Business, from senior executives to business SMEs and delivery resources.
  • Maintain open and transparent communication with stakeholders, providing regular project status updates, addressing concerns, and fostering positive relationships.
  • Anticipate and remove barriers to keep projects on track.
  • Initiate, develop, and facilitate Program Governance and reporting frameworks, including working groups, steering committees, key stakeholder forums, and key performance reporting.
  • Ensure workplace health and safety compliance by adhering to Nine's health and safety policies, guidelines, and practices.

Requirements:

  • Extensive project delivery experience working closely with technology and business teams.
  • Good understanding of agile principles and proven track record of delivering large, complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Previous experience working with Sales and/or Commercial teams is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication, influencing, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
  • Project Management certification is highly desirable, and additional certifications such as Agile/Scrum or Six Sigma are a plus.
  • Media/publishing industry experience is highly desired.
  • Google productivity suite, Smartsheets, Confluence, and JIRA experience is highly desired.
  • Attention to detail, commitment to accuracy, and quality assurance is essential.
