We are seeking a Business Strategic Advisor to support Indigenous entrepreneurs in building thriving and sustainable businesses. As a key member of our team, you will engage with emerging Indigenous businesses, introducing them to the support services available. Your responsibilities will include assisting in deal structuring, conducting financial analysis, and preparing proposals and reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with emerging Indigenous businesses and introduce them to support services
  • Assist in deal structuring, financial analysis, and proposal preparation
  • Monitor financial performance, identify risks, and advise on mitigation strategies

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to drive meaningful progress and foster significant change in promoting Indigenous economic success. You will have exposure to commercial banking and/or business planning as an Analyst or Assistant Relationship Manager and be driven by community investment and cultural integrity.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Indigenous communities, cultures, and challenges affecting Indigenous Australians in business
  • Demonstrated exposure to business planning, market research, and financial planning
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Strategic thinking, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and understanding of cash flow and P&L
  • Ability to support customers facing financial difficulty and aid in their recovery
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, marketing, commerce, or related field, or equivalent experience
